Theater in the Classroom: Creative Energy – Al Miller, The Theater Project

Kids are creative.  Long before adolescence, they are making pictures, telling and acting stories, dancing and making music.  Where does all of this go when they get to middle school?  It’s in them, so why not use it?  This participatory workshop – no watching from the sidelines! – offers ways to tap that creative energy.  It’s based on work I’ve been doing with teachers, students, seniors, people with disabilities and actors for the last forty years.
